I am extremely grateful for my baby boy! Even though he's not a baby anymore. These last 2 years have flown by and I'm so grateful to have had all the experiences we have had so far.
I look forward to watching him grow even more.
Palmer turned 2 on Oct 15th! The night before we had a Sesame Street birthday party for him.
This has been my favorite party I've planned so far!
And Palmer LOVED it. I loved seeing how much he enjoyed it.
This is the table. We had cookie monster juice boxes, cookie monster's cookies ( which aren't in this picture), Oscar's trash cans, Bert's pidgeon food, Hooper's Hot Dogs (not in picture), Elmo's goldfish, and three veggie/fruit trays in the shape of Elmo, Oscar and Big Bird.
Cookie Monster's cookies were chocolate chip.
Oscar's trash cans were chocolate pudding with crushed oreos and gummy worms.
For Elmo's face I used strawberries and raspberries. His mouth is made out of blackberries,
his nose is a half of a sliced orange and his eyes are slices of pears with halved blackberries.
For Oscar's face I used broccoli. His mouth is made of olives, his eyebrows are carrots and his eyes are ranch cups with an olive in each cup.
Bert's pidgeon food was so simple, POPCORN! And I liked the colorful paper bags.
Big Bird's face is harder to see but it consists of pineapple and pears. I wanted to use mango but the store I was at was completely out. Darn!
My good friend Josey, at Dan's, made this personal cake for Palmer. It's the cutest thing ever!
And Palmer is like his mommy, he loved all the icing.
And so did Lyla! She's ready for her smash cake for her first birthday in December!
Palmer had so much fun! We continued celebrating on his birthday with his Grandma Sue! She had a surprise 50th birthday celebration and Palmer loved being with family and friends.
Thank you to everyone who came!
